Server Concacting Web Site?

Can anyone enlighten me as to why my NS 2.01 Beta is attempting to communicate with www.natural-selection.org? I enabled logging and I see "Contacting www.natural-selection.org" right before the Adding Auth and master server entries. I don't mind it doing so, just curious what it's trying to do.
