GL's for all their advantages some people seem to say make them overpowered are incredibly weak against things like skulk if your a HA alone with only a GL and a welder a skulk could take you down (well I've done it a bit not 2 hard) GL's make you useless against anything that isn't stationary sure their nice against onos... I think seen alot of nodes actually just kinda go through the onos and land down the hall I thought that was funny.
I think it's a myth that GLs are totally useless against non-stationary targets. It's just that they are less effective, and take more practice. Also, no matter how good or bad they are against a moving target, a lone GL is more of a liability than a lone SG or HMG.

The range on grenades is inredibly impressive. Even as a marine I'm surprised at how far past my target they end up. As an alien, I'll see a grenade bounce off two walls and STILL go 40 feet down a corridor.
Yeah thats cuz we use high-quality rubber nades! previously only for riot control now they explode 2! be great to see a nade kill a skulk not blow up but the actual ammo.
