<div class="IPBDescription">Tired of this marine in base stalemate</div> Thats it, I refuse to play NS until something is done about this Turret farm/gernade spam **** the marines pull EVERY game. They sti in their relocated hive base and spam away. whiel teh aleisn can do very little, onos rushes get torn apart byt eh gernades and shotguns, Skulks are absolutly useless agaisnt turret farms, Gorges cant get close enoough to use bile bomb most of the time, Lerks are jsut an annoyance that can be picked off witha couple of pistol shots. Fades are pretty damn well useless agaisnt Turret farms without Acid rocket, Skulsk could xenocide but thats all 3rd hive ability stuff, and in most cases the marines Relocate to a hive so you cant get access to it.

Each factory should get 6 assets. A sentry takes 1 asset, and a siege takes 2.
Trick is to not let marines get that far to begin with. but there are strategies to bypassing 'nade spam.
The GL was nerfed last patch, there should be something you can do.
Anyway.. not playing a game that frustrates you is the correct course of action.
But that's your loss. IMO

There's no limit on turrets. Well there is: You can have 49 turrets and 1 factory per area... and that's just because of the 'building limit' in the area. Nothing at all like the skimpy 8 chambers / area aliens are stuck with.

NS 2.01D Server Beta Released
And the crowd is loving it. Server operators, grab yourself a copy from here. There's also a full changelog here, and but here's the Reader's Digest version:
- If an Onos redeems while digesting a player, the player is left behind
- Changed "lastinv" so that it's preserved between upgrade gestations
<u><i><b>- Resupplying at armory only goes into reserve (addresses end-game grenade spam at marine start)</b></i></u>
- Made offense chambers less accurate against fast-moving targets (jetpackers)
- Marine resource tower cost lowered from 20 to 15
- Aliens are now able to walk slowly when cloaked via the cloaking upgrade (allowing them to sneak past turrets, and even build and use buttons while cloaked)
- If you get disconnected while playing aliens, and you rejoin, your resources will be preserved
