Moving Movement?

WTH are you going?
I don't know what happened today. I was going around and knifing alien rt's to stop their res flow early game. i come to comp core, see 3 movement chambers in a row at the top of the ramp. *ka-ching* i think, no more upgrades for the aliens, so i whip out my knife and start slicing away, then it happened. One of the mc's starting moving down the ramp. It wasn't like the 'sink through the floor' kind of moving, this thing was trucking it, down the ramp. I have never seen anything like this before. Is it possible to move chambers by force? or is this some kind of bug associated with the ramps?

It's a bug that happens when you've done too much acid.

Quite annoying when you are a gorge placing a building and it goes through the floor.

It wasn't going through the floor, it was sliding down the ramp.

I myself have never seen this. I'll try to look out, though, and I'll post a demo if I see it.

    Haha. Yes very funny.

What about when you knife an RT and it slides slowly off the nozzle with each swipe.

Or (this only happened in 1.04, thank god) when an ip is spawned it gets completed building while sinking, then marines end up spawning under the map and cant move.

Thought they fixed that one up. You could sometimes get multiple rts on one nozzle which naturally lead to some lame tactics. That particular screenie is taken at miasma node on ns_nothing and most people can attest to what happened there in 1.04. Marines could make their node sink somehow then build a new one, repeat that and you ended up with around 20+ towers underneith the node, all merrily producing res. Made games a little unbalanced when HA showed up at your hive 5 minutes into the game
