My Friend's Installer Doesn't Work Correctly

I told my friend about NS, So he downloaded NS 2.0 and He Clicked the Installer, And he says "It asks me to install Gamespy Arcade and After that nothing Happens, Just a Big alien eye (Installer Background image).
Will his Computer Specs help or is this a general Problem.

Well, if you still have your 2.0 exe file, give it to him, and tell him to not install Gamespy Arcade (All-Seeing Eye is better). He could also try downloading it from a different mirror.

Yup, sounds like a corrupted installer..
What OS is he on? (XP..2k..95...3.1? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)
