<div class="IPBDescription">I swear the map was there before 2.0</div> Hi there,
My memory is fuzzy at the best of times.. Worse when I just get home.. but I swear, there was a map on 1.04.
One of the locations for a hive was Unnamed or Unknown, it could be reached by a locker room. The marines always made a rush for the crews mess.
The marines started out in a cul-de-sack and it led down into a large space, just outside of this space was a single RN, with a vent leading into the large space. In a nearby passage, part of the floor had been burst outwards by a strong force. This also allowed access to the vents.
Mostly, trying to remember the name and find the map again.
Take care all and thank you.
*hugs*

the map had to be removed as the source was lost and had some bugs in 2.0....

That'd be ns_nancy. IT was removed in 2.0 for major stuck issues and lost source.
It will be in your 1.04 backup, but don't expect it to work well with 2.0.
There is no ns_nancy, no Counter Strike and everything is well ballanced.
(For those who came in late, in the final compile, Mother Hive's name-tag disappeared without anyone noticing. Thus becoming popularized as 'noname' Hive. The re-education continues... and would a lot faster if we were issued flashy-things. Must remember to ask Nem)
Yes!! Absolutely. It's Mother, kids! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Mother Hive just sounds plain stupid....
*throws noname gang symbols with hands and fingers*

Yes but I had to call it noname as my marines usually went to MI when I asked them to go there, or thought I was refering to SAI (hive next to mother interface)
Remember the interface isn't the same thing as the mother itself <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->
There was noname (WHUT?!?!?!) and port engine, but what was the other one?
SAI?
it's on the tip of my tongue... bout to dig thru some old school screenshots to try and locate it.

I thought there was one missing.. couldn't remember the name of it.. I hope eventually they come out with it again... Other than Hera, that was my favorite one to play on..
Take care all..

Ehh? "Mother" was the name of the Nostromo's onboard computer in Ridley Scott's <i>Alien</i>. You can't call that stupid. (To my knowledge, that's where Devildog took the name for his hive)
It was one of those lovely maps that were just so easy to comm, unlike some of the new maps *cough*mineshaft*cough*.
No it's not.. "Mother Hive"... makes quite a bit of sense, actually.
