Awesome. I loved Mechwarrior 2: Mercs back in the day. I haven't played a Mech game since though...something about Mechwarrior 3 didn't make me want to play it.

Chad, the animator I work with, has been going nuts over this game for the last couple months. heh. that has got to be the most unexcited trailer i've ever seen. even the announcer seems bored. heh. And what's with completey unskinned models?

i don't like mech stuff myself. always too complicated with 50 different controls to worry about.. and that controller, jeez...

The controller has 40 buttons, it even has a few to operate the wind-shield wipers!And while it seems daunting, at E3, most people who played usually got used to the controller very quickly.
