Ns 2.0 Run With Dod Retail Is Extremely Buggy

Things are extremely laggy, when you spawn or die you will get the "no clipping" effect in where everything kind of clumps together on the screen as you look around when you're past the walls.

in the console you get tons of "Unknown command: ex_maxerrordistance" errors.

Any ideas?

    are you using Direct 3D or OpenGL ?

    Yes, it is a known issue, Wing. We are currently no longer officially supporting use of NS on DOD retail, due to engine changes Valve made to the DOD engine which are not reflected in HL SDK. We believe that the next Valve retail patch may help resolve some of these issues, but for now you are unfortunately on your own - there's nothing we can do.
