<div class="IPBDescription">Lag, Errors, video issues, etc.</div> Due to engine changes Valve made to the DOD retail version of the game and problems the HL SDK has with this new engine, we are currently not officially supporting DOD retail as a mod platform for NS. We will still try to help you if you are having issues, but if you are here to ask about lag, crosshairs, directx mode, maxdistance errors, and other DOD problems, there is nothing we can do to help. This is a problem most mods are having with DOD, and is not particularly specific to NS. Until Valve releases some compatibility patches, you are unfortunately on your own for the time being. We apologize for the inconvenience, and encourage you to buy (at $9.99 usually) an old plain-jane copy of HL that will work just fine.
