Lets up the number of NS clans
Recently, we have been trying to scrim more and more, and realized, this game just needs more clans. I know that the pub play is going well, and with this, there has to be people who regular in various pub servers... why nor form a clan with the people you know from playing with them all the time in pub? You will find that playing in a competitive environment will be very different from Pub play, and will probably increase your game play in pubs dramatically. Leagues require teams to be successful. Cal needs more teams, scrimming and playing with the same 10 teams every day just doesn’t cut it. If you don’t have a server, big deal, start a team anyways. Get to know the teams that already do exist and have servers, I’m sure they will loan you there’s or even better, play against you on it. If you want help starting a team, Talk to me in #eR, or talk to any of the ops in #findnsscrim Just let them know you want to forma team, and I’m sure they will be more then willing to help set things up with you. Both those channels are on irc.gamesnet.net , You can also Instant message me on AIM @ electricice , or on ICQ @ 126277131 But please, try and get a team together... what’s the worst that could happen, you get to know a few people? Get your name out there in the competitive community?

There are always 'no name' clans that are there but hardly get any name recognition. By recongnition, I mean popularity.
You can reschedual with CAL. Believe me, there was a lot of caps use in our IRC channel when we found out Saturday was match night. So, that's not an excuse.
I guess I'll just have to keep bothering Othell until he gives in and changes the night!
Get 6 people together, join #findnsscrim on gamesnet, and find a scrim.
tada!
Thursday works for me. We'll probably be joining up soon.
er, std, syn, apex, red, pandas, dn, HAM, ue and a few others I can't rattle off right now are the only ones I see active on IRC. Furthermore, it just so happens that those are the top clans in the NS community. Any new or lesser skilled clans that bother to speak up in #findnsscrim get completely crushed by them. It's a bit discouraging. The best would-be clanners end up joining and filling gaps in the top clans rather than forming ones of their own.
LOL . sort of true. but just sort of.

Were active in irc but not much on ns cause more than half of our members got college now. If your good stop by #uevo on gamesnet :DDDD we need some new meat
It would probably encourage more clanplay if they knew they could get some help on the differences between clan and pub play. Granted, those things can be aquired by just scrimming until you find what works for you, but clearly not many want to try that route. I can't really blame them, it's hard.
But I'd love to see some diversity and I do see potential in alot of people that dont have clans or have clans that dont scrim, and they should give it a shot.
You really have no clue how exciting this mod can be until you find yourself in a tense 6v6

Thanks, but I'm already in one of the listed above
Ice, I'm not arguing your proposition. I agree 100% with what you're saying. I am only stating the current situation of things. Starting clans get crushed by the existing ones and are subsequently discouraged. Just tellin' it like it is.
