work in progress
I'm drawing a pirate for my dear friend Snowfox... trying to stretch my methods as far as I can and start "painting" with photoshop rather than just coloring.
Here's a teaser for you... I'll post more complete images as I get more done. (:

......... i mean, cool pic, keep workin at it
Only comment is, the foot part is a lot less shiney than the cuff type bit
I want them boots.
The boots aren't as shiny because they're a sharper curve (less highlight) and dirtier than the cuffs. I'm actually going to try and "weather" them a little; still looking for a way to get the effect I want in Photoshop.
OMG MOJO IS SO FUNNY RLALRARJALRJA
Looks good. Are you going to draw a parrot?
I'm picking out small things to start with while I adjust to this style of coloring; it's more detailed than I usually do, so I'm a little apprehensive of tackling, for instance, the overcoat.
The entire pirate *does* exist, and has been block-colored... I just fill everything in grey when I show y'all, so you only see the parts I've finished (or something close to finished). Next will probably be the hat, pistol & belt, or sash. Not sure yet. (:
