Anyone know of a web-based server control panel. I'm looking for one that will run on win2k3 server, and that allows you to change the mod running on the hlds server( another words, not just rcon). Any help would be appreciated
Why in gods name would you use something as heavy as Windows2003 server for HL services? Anyway stay clear of VNC as you have a much better option, Remote Desktop or Terminal Services (I know what it's called in Win2k or XP not sure about 2k3 though)
Thanks for the info, i'm using win2k3 because of necessity not preferance and because of my situation i can't just RD into it. Regardless i found the program i was looking for. While it isn't web-based, it does allow you to remotly start/stop hlds on windows servers

Remote Desktop in Win2k3 is basacally a stripped version of Terminal Services.
Don't know what you mean by heavy, as I perfer running servers on, well, a server OS
Shockwave, I use VNC all over the office, works fantastic!
Gamehost though, looks awesome! I'll look into that for sure...
By heavy I mean in terms of memory and cpu and cash overheads - lets face it hlds isn't a 'real' server app. When I've used VNC I was very impresed at what it does (especially as it's free) but found the CPU use rather high. This might depend on the system but I figure if you already have RD built into the OS you might as well use that. I didn't know localhost2600 was unable to use remote desktop (for whatever reason) otherwise I mght not have suggested it
Glad you found an option anyway, I might have a look at that.

Just remote control the entire machine. Jobs a good 'un.
