I wonder how many of us are going to abandon this forum after the release....I would say at least half,  most will figure I have the game I don't need the forums anymore.

There are no betas, the one they release is the final version. But they'll add stuff in v2 and v3, hopefully.

U sure? I hear that for the first couple releases they were going the use Beta 1, Beta 2, ect.

Generally the first release of a mod is called beta 1.0 and then the future versions are called beta 1.1 or 2.0 things like that.  Only when a mod is no longer patched does it get out of the beta stage.

Well explain CS, apprarently Gooseman decided to freestyle on that one(ie:1.0, 1.1, 1.3 etc). FA freestyled too, calling public releases RELEASE CANIDATES, whereas NS calls the first non-public versions RELEASE CANIDATES. <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

Aren't pre-public versions called beta 0.1, beta 0.2 etc. What happened to simply v0.1, v0.2 etc.
