Episode 16 - Hail Squishface
like, 7 and a half minutes into the ep, the sealab crew are on a mission to eliminate alien squishfaces, one of them says "I need ammo," an ammo icon appears above her head, and then the captain hears it... it's the coolest/funniest thing... it has to be a NS reference, right?! I am a very naughty boy

But... unlikely... haven't seen the episode in a while... and I've forgotten if the ammo/medpack still puts a symbol over your head...

i thought that was a new episode last night?
yeah, I admit it may seem unlikely to see a NS reference in Sealab, but the thing with these Adult Swim people is A) they're geeks like most of us, B) geeks like most of us are probably their main demographic, and C) they're not afraid to put obscure references in their shows...
I just noticed I was edited for mentioning certain software... I guess I didn't know certain software wasn't allowed to be used to download certain TV shows... I figured certain software was only illegal in the case of downloading music and games you don't own... if I figured wrong, my mistake :>
Sealab still rules though, it's hilarious
btw, it's "illegal" to mention Kazaa now??
It's against the rules to mention piracy, not Kazaa. Kazaa is useful for things other than piracy, you know?
MUSHROOM MUSHROOM

ahh, k, I believe you :> o well, I was hopeful for NS publicity.
as for mentioning kazaa... guess I just don't know how far copyright laws stretch. I mean, you can legally tape TV, so I assumed you could legally download TV... etc...
But you can't legally distribute that tape.

For profit
"Hey bob, I taped that show last night. Here you can borrow it"
"Yes, I shall watch the tape with much vigour."
Another copyright law most people don't know/care about.
The episodes on any filesharing software you may use could also be from purchased DVD or VHS editions therefore we do not discuss the vague idea of software piracy on these forums as stated in the rules you read on joining them

I don't blame the people, if they want to have all kinds of silly laws they should enforce them, instead of whining.
At any rate thats the ammo sign that comes over your head in Enemy Territory when requesting ammo. I play ET, so, yep.
