Can you at least give me an estimate... I jsut wanna make it to the right scale so i dont have to re-do all my texturing and stuff if I find out I made it too big...
Put an info_player_start into the map. That is the size of a marine/level 4.
You should use the texture sizes as a base for scale. EG, railing textures are generally 32 units high - which means that, yes, railings are 32 units high in-game. Ideal door height is about 160, or 128 for a lower door. Corridor width depends but 192-256 is a comfortable size.
Scale shouldn't be a problem. Just build your room and run around in it - if it feels too small or large then you've done something wrong.
