Update On My Crashes

<div class="IPBDescription">Please help!</div> After doing multiple reinstalls of HL, NS 2.0 and drivers I went into eventviewer and found out what the dump was, since it wasn't producing one on the crash. Here it is.
"Faulting application hl.exe, version 1.1.1.0, faulting module client.dll, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x000f1bcd."

I used the same installer twice for each then I got new ones. Those first installers are on a cd though that worked fine before, confusing me to all ends. It seems a format is the only solution. :/
