Can anyone tell me how to type Spanish symbols in MS word? I'm using ME, and our teacher told us to turn on num lock, then hold alt and press numbers (she gave us a list), but that isn't working.

go to "Start\Programs\Accessories\System Tools\Character map"
All the shortcut keys are there to all the special symbols and NUMLOCK must be off to use the shortcuts
you must use the RIGHT ALT key

with numlock on or off press and HOLD DOWN alt, either alt then hit 0223
youll see this appear: ß
the german double s.
in there somewhere are all of the accented vowels youll ever need for spanish, and your teacher told you right.
