Hl Version Out Of Date Error.

<div class="IPBDescription">But then it says i have 1.1.1.0</div>I keep trying to play HL and mods...but when i try to join an internet game it says my version is out of date...Whcih doesnt make sence since it says it is 1.1.1.0...Yeah i have treid reinstalling everything, i have tried redownloading everything but nothing works....i have gone thrugh the registry and cvhanged some things to say 1.1.1.0 that said 1.1.0.6...what i havent been able to do is find any 1.1.1.6 refrences iun any files in the sierra/HL directory...but i thought mabey their were....Does anyone know a fix to this problem??
or where to find the file that is checked before it lets you authenticate with won???

delete the sierra directory, reinstall half life, update it, the end

playing with registry = bad move

simply swaping version numbers will not make it upto date

do a full uninstall of all mods, HL CSr, DoDr EVERYTHING you have installed

then install only HL, download the update, patch it, and try joining a HLDM< server

Like i said ive already tried to reinstall...and yes i deleted EVERYTIHING....it still dint work so i went back and treid Deleting even things in the registry....still no luck...I have tried yout teqnuque Thansal...

I had this problem once befor...i fixed it by going into the HL directory and changing some file with notepad to say 1.1.1.0...i cant find that file this time tho =(

anyway thanks for your help...i guess ill just have to keep play NS on DoD retail...
