<div class="IPBDescription">How are they?</div>How are the rspeeds in your maps, my computer isn't exactly top of the line, in fact I wouldn't even classify it as middle of the line. I am asking because if they are kind of high I shall go buy myself a new video card... all for NS.

In heavy traffic areas and areas where heavy combat is expected, the r_speeds should not stray above 600 at any point, and they should not average more than 500. Commander mode can have a bit lower performance than on the ground, and must never exceed r_speeds of 1000, with the average being closer to 700.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
On of my older maps even had e-polys around 20000 (yes, that is possible), but when I ran software mode some entities wouldn't get drawn. I don't think e-polys get on the performance that much.
But its always good to keep all poly levels low and for NS I would advise you to keep the e-polys low because, while playing, all the models (buildings, players, etc) add to them as well.
I myself am on the slightly lower end of the graphics card spectrum (a little less than middle ground), and I can still get 30+ fps in 1024x768, at all times (minus the occasional particle system flurry), no problems. And hell, 30 is enough for me.
