You build ZHLT in and can't do custom compile tools like we're trying to do. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://66.78.33.98/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

We need one that can carve properly, actually find and FIX the proglems in maps. One that does lighting for you like in QuArK, and one that is just generally better!

Oh yea, and it needs to have some extra options for game configs like different sets of textures for each config (eg, DoD maps wont loaad in WC with NS textures... )

From what I've read CS:CZ is going to ship with a special Gearbox version of WC, snappily called GearCraft. Its supposed to have new features/tweaks and stuff, whether it'll be compatible with anything other than CS:CZ (and if it actually will be included) I don't know.
oops, ignore my last post... i misread the title. anyway, wc is too buggy, i think they should fix the bugs before adding new features. the one thing that i would love to see is a 3d view that shows lights and entities as they would appear ingame. this would save tons of time compiling. also, if wc is to include zhlt, they need to make a nice gui cus im a lazy ####### and i want to click on stuff rather than having to type in all the settings.
WC needs a triangle tool and an advanced texture aligner that you can use to select an edge and have the textures seamlessly align, no matter the angle.
Yeah, that would be cool. I'm not sure if this would be possible, but i'm wondering if they can possibly make texture aligning like it is in Milkshape 3d, where you drag the vertices of the face you want to the location they will be on the texture. This allows for stretching and warping textures so they can be taller on the right side and short on the left side for certain geometry. This probably isn't coded into the engine's code though.

That was my understanding anyways, i could be wrong.
