issues
i got steam yesterday becuase i know wonid wont be up for long but i have no clue on how to add 3rd party mods. when i try to join a natural selection server on steam it try's to luanch cs and then says that this game is unavailable.

i went to the irc chat #steam and asked them and they said i had to move my ns folder to your email address folder in steam and i did that but it didnt do **** all. so like everyone else i know ns doesnt work on steam and i was wondering if anyone knew how to get it to work?

I can't get NS to work with Steam also ... It gives me an error saying "Cannot Verify STEAM ID" after trying to connect to a NS server

Very likely the server you attempted to go to hasn't updated itself yet with steam. Give it time for the new system to adjust. In addition, read the off-topic forums for some more info on steam.

The "can't verify steamID" and similar errors is caused by steam overload, so it's not NS related. I can join steam NS servers, but I get disconnected due to "reliable message overflow" after about 2 seconds. Anyone else who's had this?

if the server hadnt been updated to steam it wouldnt be on the steam network becuase steam has nothing to do with WONid network
