Anyhow, I don't do any Half- Life modding. Im into the GTA series.

Ill look into some things though.

    Half-Life and 56k modems go together quite well after u have downloaded all the updates and the mods themselves,

    I get a ping of 180-200 on UK servers in games like NS this is not a big issue as ping doesnt really affect the gameplay while in games like CS v LPBs i dont come off so good altho CS has lots of 56k only servers <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    My 56k is only a V90 old and software yer i know cheap....does ok tho, with a V92 Hardware modem ive heard of people getting 140-160 pings in CS and NS.

    Ok reason to find your HL copy... it has over 50 awards and is the best game of all time <--- not making that up has an award for best game ever. Anyway another reason u should play it... HL2 comes out in 2 weeks and u really should finish the first one so u dont go ruining the story line <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
