for lerk replacement
Starcraft Mutalisk model for lerk replacement, which is what you have been all waiting for. It's finally here, thanks to you guys' support.
Please note: This is the 1st version. The next version will be released when the new skin is done by Psycho-Kinetic Hyper-Geek.
Also note that there are 2 versions in this zip file. The only difference between these 2 versions are the skin.
One is done by mashi and Shinzon, the other version is done by thorax and coolcookiecooks
Credits:
Modelling: Pvt. Hudson
Skinmesh: Coolcookiecooks
Texture ( Mashi's version ): Wings by Shinzon (Tweaked by Mashi-), eyes from the pics of the muta from SC, rest by Mashi-
Texture ( ThoraX's version ): Skin made by ThoraX, credit to coolcookiecooks for the vein textures used on the wings
Animation : Pvt. Hudson
Model Concept: Blizzard
A few notes to animation (Complete animations, done a long time ago , made compatible with NS 2.0):
1. In half life model viewer, some animations speed is off, but they are correct in game. ( which really matters )
2. For walk, run and crawl animations, the mutalisk hovers a few inches above the ground with wings making small flapping
movement.
3. For flying animations, the mutalisk make big flapping movement
4. When the muta is idle, ie, standing still. It's body rests on the ground with wings rest by the sides of the body.
5. Since the muta flying animation is jump animation, the attack animations will NOT show up when it's in the air. Because
the jump animation is not a blend animation and is not compatible with attack animations. But all the attack animations
will show up when it's on the ground, ie, walking, running, crawling or idle.

Comments
but i do admit, this model is good.
CoolCookieCooks has been working on those, and will be releasing them soon, in no more then 3 days...
he is also planning a full conversion for Aliens side... so pay attention and visit frequently to keep up to date.
You're kidding...I could do it in <1 hour...where's that sound extractor? (yes I have StarCraft installed )

he's including them in his TC pack... sprites, menus, models, sounds... TOTAL, none of this half-trashed conversion model-by-model bunk...

i hate formating my computer... still didnt get everything working the way i want it

Weeee...... thanks to all who contributed to this kewl model.
the death anims look a bit strange, human like, but in starcraft the thing just exploded. great job to all that worked on it (or still do)
in starcraft EVERYTHING exploded when it died lol
