...resource model for me(details within)
Seems to me in smaller games as alien I get res faster than in larger games. When I see a +1 from a rt does that mean
** Everyone on the alien team just got +1 res
OR
**+1 res was allocated to your team on a "next in line for it" basis
OR
**None of the above. Heh.

Resource nodes collect resources and puts it all into one big resource pool.
The resources are split up into equal shares and given out to the players.
Note that resources do not overflow once you have filled up, and that gorges don't receive any extra resources than usual, and that any resources you receive when you already have 100 is discarded.
You still receive resources while you are dead.
If someone leaves the game or goes to the ready room, their resources are lost.

instead of 100 res being devided between 16 people=6 res each person
it is devided between less players, 5 people=20 res each

That quote you have is quite accurate. Let me see if I can help simplify things a bit for you.
We'll start with a basic small game, 4 v 4. Aliens start with one res node, that's .25 res per tick (about 2 seconds I think) for each alien. 3 aliens go gorge and drop res towers. That's now 4 res towers, each alien now gets 1 res per tick. Each node from that point on adds another .25 res per tick. Res for Kills is applied to each alien that gets the kill, that's only per kill the alien gets. The more towers you get, the faster the res comes in. Now if you spread that out among more people the percentage of res per tick gets smaller. For marines the res model is really simple because it's all dumped into a pool.
If i just managed to confuse you more, just feel free to ask. I play gorge most of the time as aliens so I feel I have a good graps of the alien res model.

One resource is gained for your team, however that one res is split "x" amount of ways. Where "x" is the number of players.
It's either that or
Resource Chambers give out a certain number of resources, however with a lot of players a queue line might be unfair to the ones that are first in line. So, it gives out the resources in percentages... So they all get resources at the same time, but in smaller amount.
That's why huge games take so long for the resources to fill up, smaller percentages are being distributed.
If you have 6 aliens it effectively takes 6x as long to get 1 res as a lone alien would (mind that would be a boring game ). I'm just not sure about how fast alien res towers produce a tick, is it once every 5 seconds?
Marines are simple though, just 1 res per tower every 5 seconds. So four towers=4 res/5s etc.
I don't believe it is done by que system as stated previously, it wouldn't be very fair.
