<div class="IPBDescription">in windows and every other program</div> This even happens in dos My screen gets all bluey and makes green stuff yellow and burns the eyes.

I'm not giving the full computer specs because its just my monitor nothing else since it does it in dos(starting up)

My monitor is a Compaq 151FS

    /me screams

cmon how much longer would it have taken to have given us full sys specs instead of a line about why you refuse to give them to us???

then there is the factor that you probably don't HAVE dos installed on your computer (the boot screens you see are your Bios not DOS)

    now for your fix:

buy a new moniter your curent one is dead

its prolly a pin on the monitor cable bent. Unplug the monitor and check the copper pins in the connector to see if everything checks out

or if your incredibly unlucky the wires have come out the back of the adapter, and I think its cheaper to get a new monitor than get it fixed (well unless u know what ur doing, might even require a machine todo it) anyway this happened to me a bit ago, but I got a 19" monitor so I didnt care (though its not flatscreen, but better than most erm bent screens (im talking about flat crt, not ftf here))

Test a different monitor if you can too. Sometimes video cards bite the dust too.
