These are the servers I'd play on.. if I *could* play right now <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Beware that you will undoubtedly be kicked from the HAMPTONS no matter what tho - it's auto, nothing personal. They just have waaay too many reserved slots; on the other hand, if you get a reserved slot, you are guaranteed pwnage players all the time.
Ahem, my server of course <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
While not nearly as much talent as Hams stops by I do get frequent visits from some former members of ReD, and current members of Exigent, #cri, ue, and cx.
Oh yes, and of course, Duff-Man, which is total sexiness.
Actually, you want to rethink Lunixmonster - just spent the worst game of my life there,
EDIT
because I'm a prune. And bad games happen every now and again. Lunixmonster is a very good server, with dependable regs and likeable admins. Yeah you'll have a bad run of games but the standard is generally high, and when the server is busy you can be assured of at least half your team ACTING as a team.
In fact its part of the server rules now! All the more reason to play.
Ehem, Necrosis, it's posts like yours that cause server discussion threads to be closed. I happen to like The Linuxmonster, and its one of the few (if not only) servers I play on. So you had one bad experiance, try to lighten up and stop being so negative.
So yeah, go to the Linuxmonster, fun fun! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
No, I rather enjoyed playing on Lunixmonster, especially against regulars like yourself, Xeero, Jane, Crack, etc. In fact recently it IS the only server I play on, even to the point of waiting until a slot got freed up. So I do have a great love for the server and the players.
Secondly, my so called "one bad experience"
EDIT
Was down to me being cranky after several diabolical teams. Lesson? Drink more tea, eat more bakewells, keep the blood pressure down, and remember that Lunixmonster players are great sports and VERY supportive of new players.
Lunixmonster Guns4back2school Prodigy Clan (ns3.joe.to (I r evil admeen thar)) Mongo and Knoids NS (ns2.joe.to Um.. because its joe.to like the Prodigy server and usually has people (unlike the prodigy server))) CoFR (I haven't played on there much, but the few games I have have always been good ones)
I play almost all the time on Voogru's Hive 1 24 player server (64.5.51.160:27015). There are reserved slots so you might be kicked but there's only about 30-40 people who have them. The level of play is such that a newer player wouldn't be overwhelmed but a skilled player would find a challenge.
I gave up on trying to visit other servers though, seems like all the good ones use reserve slot so becoming a member of the community is next to impossible. I use a shared network and live in Arizona so I get a slightly above average ping and most reserve slot systems kick highest pinger so I get pillaged every time.

What he wanted to say was that server threads are prohibited as they inevitably end in bashing.
