<div class="IPBDescription">How are you doing?</div> This hurricane's claimed twelve lives so far. It's tragic <i>anyway</i>, but hopefully no NSers <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
I'm near Boston and we're getting just a bit of rain from the outskirts.

Further south though, (New Jersey, New York, Baltimore, North Carolina) how ya guys doing there? If your power's still up, let us now you're okay.

    Yeah that storm looks bad, lets just hope people took note of the warnings and prepared for it.

    yea, im in virginia, right in the path of isabel.

    no harm to my house, i was lucky, but all my family members and friends have no power, no water, so we were helping them with some spring water we had.

    so basically i cant get out or drive anywhere cuz there are 3 huge trees down on my street alone and most traffic lights are out in my county.

    madness, but mostly everyone here is okay.

    Well, a few branches fell from the tree next door, and i discovered a Rain poncho, streched taught, is capable of lift a 230 pound man, of course, that's in 75mph winds

    Raleigh was not badly hit, so we're fine. The big damage has been that my mother-in-law has been here all week and will be staying until Sunday.

    -_-

    After you've been through a hurricaine while living in a tent (which is where I found myself in 1994, stationed in Cuba), the regular ones don't seem very impressive.

    yea, but its not that bad, just a little hassling without power, but other than that they are fine. yea the government takes care of most of it, unless it has to do with insurance, and thats just more personal damage stuff. the govt takes care of the like common property damage.

    thanks for the concern, i appreciate it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    NYC got little more than wind and rain, one person died that I heard of. Hit with a falling branch.
