My Ns Is Choking!

<div class="IPBDescription">Steam + Net-Graph 3 = Choke 50+</div> Hey, I got NS working in steam but I cant hold a connection to any server, I'm on DSL, but when I turn on net_graph to see whats happeneing, I've got a choke of 50, and sometimes lots of loss too. Eventually my choke rises and I lose my connection, but all other games are fine, and NS w/o steam works just fine.
What's causing this, and is it going to be resolved soon, (as in, before the won servers go down?)
