GAH!!!! i just came across this thread on the official steam forums, supporting the idea that the only way we'll get suitable fps is to get a friggin ATI card...
everyone who has a radeon says they get almost constant 100 fps... WTH? my GF4 ti4600 has always given me 100 fps till now, what the hell gives?

If you cant run 1.6 right, your not going to have much fun when HL2 comes out.
If you cant afford to upgrade, save up! or get stuck with crappy fps, you cant expect them to be responsale for the fps on your system, there are too many different systems and the bottom end of modern computers is what you have to look at. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I really love these kind of posts, typical "I don't have the problem so stop whining" response, knowing he is behind the safety of his monitor. I mean, all HL mods ran perfect on my machine before this Steam(ing Crap) came out. Now they have thousands of players who feel their hardware has been turned into a Nintendo Gameboy. I have a P4 1.7Ghz, 192MB RAM, Geforce 2 64MB and everything I've played has ran great, I'm quite sure Half Life 2 will run better than Natural Selection.
I couldn't actually see my FPS, because every time I run STEAM it crashes.... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
