<div class="IPBDescription">First Look</div> Ah it appears everyone has been influenced in some way or another by the introduction of Combat mode. Myself? I decided to start working on a map. I thought now would be the time to introduce a "DeathMatchy" map for NS. I would never have done it before because it wouldn't have worked, but now, I think it would work perfectly!

Here's the Layout so far... lots more to come.

I realize it's a small image but that door in the middle of the arena conceals a spike pit below and down at the bottom the aaatrig tex block is a Lava pit. You can glimpse "jump" or "bounce pads" every here and there. Those crates underneath the platform are breakable as is most of my map. What's more fun then breaking stuff?

Oh did I mention it has custom sounds?

It's me doing the voice, however I gave myself a 40db bass boost and added a Flanger effect. Download and listen to it below, it's not a DIRECT Quake rip-off, what can I say DeathMatch seems to work better with some crazy-**** voice yellin' atcha!

    I'd like some more upclose shots before i comment but I'd say it looks rine bias with that open area and only a few crates.

    I don't think it will be marine biased once people are actually playing the thing. The goal is to have fast paced action. There will be Skulk passageways, and skulk chutes that will run the skulk out into the arena at 90 MPH hour basically. All in all I don't have a clue how it will play. I mean PT will have to decide what needs reworking. And anyway, this is just a start. The map isn't that close to being finished, so only time will really tell. I hope you're wrong and it isn't favoring the rines, but my gut tells me your prolly right. I guess I'll just have to wait for Play-Testing before I'll really know.
