<div class="IPBDescription">Yes, been asked before...</div> Sorry, I'm on my way to class, so I was short on time, but could someone please provide some links to the best map program out there, and a good tutorial to an absolute n00b who doesn't have ALL the time in the world on his hands.
Thanks in advance.

I shall do that as soon as I get the chance =)
But anyways, I'm on irc and I think you have my aim, i'm probably just slightly less newb than you when it comes to mapping but if youve got any questions throw em my way, maybe i've already dealt with them.
Yea, I hear mapping does take a lot of time, what I need to do is budget my time, make a schedule, etc etc
This site has great beginner tutorials. I learnt the basics of mapping for HL through this site about 5 years ago.
As for scheduling your time, i would suggest not. Rather, you should make it into a fun hobby, so that you don't feel the need to map when you really don't want to. If you put yourself on a schedule you may get sick of mapping.

Thanks for the advice, I didn't think about it that way, but now that I do, it makes sense.
