Skulks are the best choice at the moment, mainly due to Xenocide combined with Focus is incredibly effective (Focus slows down the rate of fire, but makes each attack much more deadly) and the fact that Onos and Fades have accurate hitboxes now, and drop like flies. (This is being worked on)

About time! I mean it was fun if you were a skulk to actually hide in there and chomp away, but real annoying trying to hit the bugger as a marine. Is the resource towers now filled? Can you still walk in the Marine's resource legs?

Spores+Umbra has been suggested but it's not in any current build and like Monkey said there's no official word of whether it's even been considered. so no, they're not trying it out yet, if ever.
Btw, excuse the **** quality of those pics. I first made them the right size by making it smaller in gif, realized I couldn't upload it as gif, and then made it into jpg. So, yeah, it looks about 10x nicer in game.
