ok not to ask a totally stupid question, but, I play Ns ALL the time. im in [NAR] clan and dont play TFC anymore becose of it. i like most clan based players LOVE the epic battles that come from NS. we hated to see the 2.0 come along becouse it made the game faster and unbalanced. but we still love the game so we play. now it seems your trying to make the game into 10 minute versions?
PLEASE tell me these are two diffrent mods and i can have 2 ver NS and 3 ver NS installed on same machine, becouse a free for all looks fun. but the community still enjoys a nice long battle that sways power back and forth till someone finally comes out on top. i dont want to upgrade to 3 if i cant play 2 anymore.
is there an answer to this or will i have to make seperate directorys and HL installs to play both?
To Klaymen: This thread is about NS:Combat, which will be a part of NS 3.0. You will have choice to play 'normal' NS 3.0 or NS: Combat. There will be like two games.
We killed all three hives, but the aliens swam here for a while ( along with the chambers). It took us quite some time to get them out, and we lost some HA's in the proccess too.

Redemption aliens in normal NS are incredibly useless. By the time they attack us, we most likely have at least shotguns and level 1 or 2 weapons, so the redemption ons redeems in a matter of seconds. Of course, it doesn't die, but it doesn't do anything either.
A regen or carapce onos takes a while longer to die, but it still goes down pretty quick.

When your on the move, jumping back and forth like i usually am. The sparkles "seem" to come on the wrong spot thus looking like that.

The marines basically just sat on 2 RTs the whole game in pipeline and marine start. Due to the current unbalance of 3.0, marines were actually quite effective at holding us off even though we had 4 times as many RTs. Trust me, this game was not very exciting.
