If the public manages to pull off the whole 'Team work' thing... Then NS will become my new god. ^^

As it stands, Aliens for the first few days/weeks/months (STC) until the public breaks away from their feeble CS tactics and whatnot.

Then marines will be my favorite... If I can get this confounded Mic to transmit coherent mesages on HL. >.<

well you all say that the noobs will not be teamwork ppl, but if u think about it, most of the community is in the forums or watching them, so I think there will be more teamwork at the beggining than u might think

Gwahir... RANDOM team? Don't you mean auto-team? If it were random, what if it put you on the team with most people?... Or is there a Random team option AND an auto-team option?

I think I'll play aliens the first time if I'm on a pub server. If I'm on a server with the rest of EGC and EC, it won't matter. I'll just run through "auto-assign".

Well... the team I <b>want</b> to play as is the Marines, but if the teams are to unbalanced, then it's aliens for me. And from the looks of things in this thread most people will be joining the marine team anyway, so I probably will end up playing as an Alien. Besides, being a Level 1 does sound pretty cool.

i'd probably play as rines (marines for those sc n00bs) cuz i think its really cool to c 6 marines walking together in formation all yelling "OMFG, COVER ME, I DUN WANNA DIEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" and then all the "veterans" will be yelling "STFU AND PLAY U IDIOTS!!!" i'd play as marines for the "teamwork" and the bigass weps. can't wait to pwn (0wn for those Firearms n00bs) those aliens wit the shotty or LMG. i like going for light weps <img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. on the other hand, i'd want to be aliens cuz... well... i've never been an alien in hl... i wanna c how its like. it ought to b cool tho.

I want to play on FF servers as marine so when the n00bE/CS bad ### leaves formation I will make an example out of him if you know what I mean....BAM BAM BAM right in the back of the head. Thats how you get your squad to stay in formation.

hmm... good question, i'd probably just click "auto-assign" and start from there, if there is one, either that or start out as aliens, then next map switch to marines, just to check both sides out, see which i like best

id be a alien, and id evolve into the fat alien (lvl2) just so the marines can see some fat thing running accross their screen.

"Who the hell? Decepticon? Oh, New guy right?" - Right, and i for one would probly go for the Marines side of the story - but id deffinently play the aliens as well - probly go for the underdog - as said before, victory is so much more fun like that.. if u win.

This mod reminds me of Gloom for Quake 2 - i LOVED that mod, this mod looks better, i LOVE this mod...(and i love Hostile Intent too... heheh, had to add that)

No clicking, that is what the readyroom is for. Only thing u might need to click when you join the server is the MOTD. (Hmm, wonder if Flay can code it so that appears as a hologram in the RR and then mappers can place it where ever they want? Naw, too much work) When you joing you're placed in the rr and there are these door ways with signs over them and you walk throught the one you want. Or you can hang around and chat with other ppl in the rr while looking for easter eggs.
