<div class="IPBDescription">cs homework / right of passage</div> A famous assignment in my first level systems class is referred to as the bomb. Each student is given a unique executable for the assignment. It is called the bomb because it requires you to enter in 6 passwords exactly in order to "diffuse" it. If any are entered in incorrectly, the program contacts the grading server and deducts a quarter point from your grade. (And you have to run it on the campus machines so you can't just unplug your comp from the network) We had to go in and wade through the assembly to figure out what strings will satisfy each stage. This was sort of the climax of a week from academic hell (writing an 8 page philosophy paper, on my birthday /coding coding and more coding) I've been programming for the last 14 hours straight on this assignment and one for another programming class. (ML sucks btw <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> )

Weeks like this make me want to start drinking.
