Har har... This film is going to be so crap. I really enjoyed The Matrix. Matrix: Reloaded was a big steamy pile of poo. Matrix: Revolutions looks like it's taking the easy way out. It looks like it's not going to be a movie which makes you think afterall.
By taking the easy way out I mean. Make Neo destroy a bad guy/organisation, which will be randomly introduced (talking computer head-thing in the trailer?) and then everything will be happy. It seems to me like they are trying to place a person behind the robots, which Neo has to defeat. Which just seems a let down if it is.
I read some really good Matrix: Revolution ideas when people were defending Matrix: Reloaded. Seems like they might have been looking too deep to salvage something from a dire movie which was Matrix: Reloaded.
Also, am I the only person who thinks Matrix: Reloaded's effects were useless? They spent so much on something which you could so obviously tell was a computer graphic.
Let's hope I am very wrong, if the story is useless and every action scene is a useless CG battle, there's nothing much in this movie for me.
Of course I'm going to see it. But I have no high expectations at all.
Can anyone here really say that Reloaded's story was predictable? I mean, looking at just the 1st one, there would be no way to forsee that the Matrix would come to the brink of destruction, Smith would be a virus, and the Architect would be the mind behind Neo's creation, the keymaker, that evil dude with the resturant.
It introduced alot of stuff no one saw coming. And a good percentage of it was NOT CG, only a partial part of 1 fight scene was CG, everything else was wire stunt work. There were some CG scenes that could be easily distinguished of course. And then again there was alot of CG that you likely didn't realize was there at all, and even after looking at it again its hard to see.

Hey I loved Reloaded. I can see why some people didn't like it but hey, that's their choice.
Revolutions is shaping up to look sweet as well. Also the final trailer still didn't answer the question of whether the Oracle was talking to Smith or Neo in the previous trailer.

"...And if you fail?"
"I won't"
Reminded me of the Halo 2 Teaser Trailer.
Cortana:"What if you miss?"
Master Chief:"I won't"
