My First Serious Work.....

I started learning about mapping at the beginning of the summer. Since then i've had very little time to actually work, and no projects as of yet that are worthwhile. I just wanted to post this shot and show off what I have managed to learn by now. Please disregard the far wall, as it's only there to let me compile at the moment.

For the supports in the hall, they aren't connected to the cealing in any way, so how do they support?

Ok, I guess this is kind of a bad shot in that the architecture is a little better than it looks. The first and last wall panels are actually inset a little. There's also gratin grating on that section of floor that will eventually have some steam when I can get the particle system figured out.

The supports, yeah, are kind of bad now that I look at it. I was going more for the light fixtures on top to be attached to the support than to look like part of it. I'll have to come back and revise this a little after I work on an actual room.
