Is There A Patch...?

<div class="IPBDescription">after installing cs1.6 steam client</div> I accidentally pressed "clean up old files" when i was installing the new beta steam client. Now when i try to open ns it wont work. "clean up old files" basically means that steam deleted any files that it added to it's caches.

The reason why won-ns wont work for you anymore is because the half-life engine isn't in that folder anymore... You're basically trying to make your brand new sports car run after some other dude came along and stole the spark plugs... and the pistons... and the rest of the engine block for that matter...

Unfortunately you do have to reinstall half-life now. (or stick to only playing steamed-ns, which you can do by looking at the stickied thread at the top of this forum)
