<div class="IPBDescription">What would happen if (cont. inside)</div>A level 1 crawled up into a vent (player-duck size) and evolved into a level 5? Would it let the level 1 do it?
and if it did let it, Would it cause anything to happen/what new bugs would appear/would it crash the game?
Maybe a PT should try it sometime... I'm just curious,
It would be funny to see the head of a level 5 sticking out of the wall

Maybe this fits better in the ideas forum...
Oh well, if it does a moderator can always move it...

    ok, thx, just wondering what would actually happen if you did that... since that would be an obvious bug... (lucky for us non-PTs we don't have to worry about many/any bugs...)

    I'm not a playtester, but there've been a few pics of big fat alien eggs in some of the screens.  Seems pretty reasonable that that's the sort of thing it'd end up with (actual morphing animations seem like they'd be unnecessarily hard to do for little payoff :o).

    When all the playtesters end their posts in a wink and say things like

    it makes me feel like there is an NS conspiracy. I think I was right about my theory. All the playtesters locked up Flayra and MonsE and they play NS all day and tell us their "testing". Then, at the end of each day, they force MonsE and Flayra to read every post asking "When will NS come out?". The playtesters laugh and say "when it's done" because it will never be completed because Flayra is all locked up. The only thing they let Flayra say is "nobody wants this mod to come out as much as I do".

    My maybe they have Flayra chained to a pole somewhere and weekly they visit him, slowly circling chanting "When it's done, When it's done". Slowly but surely driving him mad! MAD I SAY!! HAhahAHAAhAHhAHAHA!

    Erm.

    I read somewhere that the alien turns into a cocoon of sorts while evolving.

    Lol @ freemantle, I have seen some screenies of egg type things, so im guessing it will be like in starcraft, when the zerg's evolve to different types of aliens or buildings, but probably a bit different.

    Yup, when an alien evolves, the model turns into a large cocoon like thing.  Then, when they are done they emerge as a beautiful butterfly--er, I mean as a new ferocious, face eating, creature ready to bite/rip/shoot/trample/disembowel any hapless marines who happen to be wandering by.
