Steam Specific Tech Forum?

<div class="IPBDescription">...and a new problem.</div> I know its alot to ask, but Its hard to find much of anything usefull searching this forum in general, let alone filter out steam specific stuff. The same terminology is used in every post in Tech support, so most searches turn up hundreds of results or none at all. Not asking for any "official" steam tech support from the NS team...just a place where community members can help each other solve NS/Steam specific issues. Just an idea...on to my problem.

I get all the sprite crash errors, the weird pop up menus as alien(havent even tried being a marine yet)
But on top of all that, I cant switch weapons! Is there a problem with any of the weapon functions I should be aware of? I can join servers just fine, and play just fine other than those issues.

if anyone has any ideas, I can post whatever info you need to figure it out, but right now I dont know what info would be usefull in solving the problem.

Check your config again,
My 1 2 3 keys sometimes get screwed up, try going to console ~ and back to game with ESC that usually fixes it.

I'm pretty good with Steam,
I should put my nice little FAQ up..right now its hosted on my comp...
If the steam help is ever done, I will make a nice little post with my FAQ there.
