Reserving clan names

<div class="IPBDescription">=bw=</div>Can I reserve a clan name on a section of the ns site or rr.org for my small pitifull group of 2 (my brother and i)?
Anyone else that wants to join will have to meet criterias that are

-You are not a llama (my brother is not subject to this one)   <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

-You have expirience with two popular hl mods (cs dod)

-You have experience with C&C (comand and conquer)usually for commanders.

-You must be of good standing on the ns forums (you dont post like an idiot kinda like me) <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

-All =BW= members in DOD are automaticly =BW= memers in ns.

And any advice from the powers that be is recomended  <!--emo&:D--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'><!--endemo-->

Then I would adivse you to check out <a href="http://clanfission.myip.org" target="_blank">Clanfission</a>  although the site isn't fully feature complete yet.

Soon Clanfission is released and you can register ur clan to play on the Official NS Ladder.
at the moment it's not wise to Register becouse it's still under heavy construction and your data can easy be lost forever and you need to register again
take my advice storm Clanfission when it releases officialy and your data can't be lost anymore.

Just use whatever tag you want. Who cares if two clans have the same initials? There are a ton of SS clans, but it isn't like 'Are you in the Super Soldiers clan?' 'No, I am in the Super Saijans.' 'Oh dear, you have the same initials... boy is MY face red!'

Or something... you get the idea.

Well i want to reserve because another group of people copied my clan tag and name exactly. So thats why i wanted it reserved. Thx for the help.

Theres usually alot of duplicate clan names, however if your clan was the first, and the most respected.. (or skillful), they are usually referred to as <b>that</b> clan.

Like in DoD, there could be more than one clan =uk-r=, but most would refer to UK-R as the clan who are highly involved in DoD gaming leagues, and are fairly successful.

If theres an official NS gaming league, and your clan plays frequently, its most likely another clan won't use your initials.

Even if they do, you can always change the way your tag looks to signify your clan.. instead of basic initials, add something like . before and after the tag.

Hmm, I know having a clan would help a lot to improve teamplay, but the officail ladders adds a kewl aspect. I am going to wait to join a clan tell after NS is relesed for a few reasons though....
