Heh, my brother has a cord that can connect the computer w/ tv. I should try it. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
the quality is likely to be poor because of the light levels but a proper xvga projector is actually very sharp and you can read the text at 1024x768 without problems. You can get higher resolutions but then the price gets even sillier. We use one of these projectors at work for demonstrations and presentations. They cost around £2000 at the moment if you're interested.

Not even 640x480 most of the time. Really big TVs just blur the lines between the actual pixels alot so you don't notice the jaggies.
A digital projector, on the other hand, can go much higher, but will be much more expensive for anything decent.
Solutions: make sure your monitor is decent (17-21 inches, good picture quality, not of a brand that will die as soon as warrentee expires, supports many refresh rates).
