Need help
Right now I'm having problems editing/moving ANY sound files, Also whenever I try to connect to an IRC server it doesn't connect, it keeps timing out. Not long ago I got a "run.dll is not responsive" , I -know- that isn't good. I REALLY want to avoid a reformat and I'v already done spyware scans/virus scans/registry clean-up.

I've never heard of run.dll either....Get Norton Anti Virus. It automatically updates with new viruses...I've never had a virus on my computer since I got this.

be careful that its not actually rundl132.exe, a lot of sub7 varients use that trick (or something like it, my memory is foggy about windows virus problems)

What version of Windows are you running?
I'm pretty sure i've seen rundll on a Windows 98 machine
a while ago. But do a virus scan just incase.

Actually the sound thing is working now, and I'm going to re-install mIRC soon.

"if its not broke, dont fix it"

"however, if you dont know anything about viruses, scan. if you know a lot about viruses, scan. if youre a frog, scan. Scan."
