I was actually starting to come into my NS prime when I entered college, because I finally have a good gaming rig (w00t for 60 fps constant). At one point with a Skulk I could take on 3-4 marines in CQB and slaughter them...granted, it was as a Super skulk (Celerity + Carapace) but still...considering that a month before that I couldn't take on 1 marine in CQB.
SSBM, I love Sheik. Haven't gotten Mew yet, but I don't own the game so <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo-->
as long as my team has: a few shooters a few thinkers several in the middle and NO whiners im fine
i care nothing of age, welll then again i'm usually always the youngest player on the team so...
and compared to 5 years ago my reflexes are on average better by 0.01s ... no biggie but it does help also: typing speed up by 80%, accuracy down by 99% <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

This is my theory. There is awesome young players out there, but this is because the games they master are a little bit simplistic. Realtime and turn based strategy would probably be biased in favour of older age(to a point). In the case of RTS, it the reflexes of THINKING, not hand/eye, that would matter. Although both would be suitably tactical.
That's not to say that there isn't room for thinking in fast paced action games, but it's bolstered/limited by reflexes and coordination.
