Riight well I need to know where I can get that map editor for NS. Im hoping I got the right one but Im so damn out of it today I honestly am afraid of even posting this topic. Chances are tomorrow when I read it I will personally flame myself in graphic detail.
Questions:
1) What Editors can be used?
2) Where can I get the said Editors?
3) Do they come with Tutorials?
4) Anyone know anything else I need, such as the ns2.wad, what ever the heck (so need to swear...) that is.
5) Can you be nice about it? As I keep saying. Bad day.
Not normally dumb like this but wow. Its like if I was half asleep when I typed this and already I have the urge to beat myself with a stick that has a nail in it for being such a n00b (which are evil, newbies are good if annoying)

4)well you dont REALLY need any thing else.
other programs you might like:
you will want to get <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=4&t=21248' target='_blank'>xp cageys compile tools</a> as they are designed for ns.
<a href='http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Nemesis/index.php?p=2' target='_blank'>nems' batch compiler</a> is alos a good choice but again not really needed
<a href='http://www.telefragged.com/wally/' target='_blank'>wally</a> allows you to view and edit textures as well as .pak file it allows makes color decals
<a href='http://csnation.counter-strike.net/cssprites/sprites/spriteexplorer.exe' target='_blank'>sprite explorer</a> which will allow you to view and create sprites( .spr)
