I needed more to practice on, tell me if the smoothing groups are right on this one, somebody.

    fix the handle please, its has nothing to it, its just the shape of it, and is boxy. you need to add rounded sides, make it feel better for the hand. nott to bad though, btw. if its not a release, also, then dont post the model.

    I just wanted to find out what was wrong with it, and i have trouble seeing a model just looking at a flat picture. Here is basically the final copy, Someone else pointed out the flat grip. If their are any other problems, whoever meshs/skins it can sort it out.

    I would love to mesh this, but have no idea how, I really need someone to talk me through it the first time. I downloaded lithunwrap, but I can't figure out how to use it.

    btw your model could do more smoothing
    here's an error on my model, and also, to kinda give you an idea of what smoothing does

    the "edge" in the green circle is the right effect which i want to do on the gun, but in the red circle, i kinda made a mistake and make it look curved. Take note that both the "edges" look the same in flatshaded view.

    how did the mistake happen? well, what i did was i chosed the side faces of the slide and assigned it to, say smoothing groups 1. On the top part of the slide, i chose the front faces and also assigned em to smoothing groups 1 too, thus, this makes it look "blended" and curved.

    to correct the mistake, i will have to assign either of the faces to a different smoothing group, and then i'll get the sharp edge look in the green circle.

    hmmm, looking good, but three things:

    1. add some texture to the skin. make it look more metal, less grey. add bumps, rust, tiny scratches, etc. to make the texture more believable.

    2. instead of using the 3D angled TSA logo, i think you should leave it 2D, and make it black.

    3. dunno if you were going for the cartoony look, but to make it more real, you might wanna get rid of the black out lines going around the edge of the skin.

    other than that, its looking great.

    I actually am trying to make it look like a cartoon ^^. I may actually thicken the black lines later. That's also why I didn't bother with rust/scratches. As I said before, unless you guys want it, I probably won't release it. I'm just making it to my tastes.

    edit: almost forgot, i was looking for another tsa logo, couldn't find one. Can someone link me to a better one I could use?

    I don't care if it fits in with the NS-gritty-like atmosphere, if you released this, I would sure-as-hell use it! This thing looks awesome.     dont make the black lines bigger, nooo!! You'll ruin the cell shading moments.

    Cell shading isnt about the lines, you need to have the correct textures. See how your grey isnt very detailish (Bumps, scratches, glares, etc...) thats what makes it look cell shaded. You can put a black line around anything, that doesnt make it cell shaded, just makes it really fugly if not done right.

    I think the rtx pack should be cell shaded anyways. would pwnz.

    You misunderstand, by bigger i meant one pixel bigger, right now in milkshape Ive been swinging the model around and a few of the lines are just a little too thin to see. I'm not going to make huge streaks.

    I'm just hoping i can get revolver to get me a solid animation. Nothing screws up a awesome model faster than a bad anim. *cough* c-20 *cough*

    hmm if this turns out well I should make a cartoon-gun pack. That would be sweet.

    HOLY dude that came out so freaking sweet. its exactly how i imagined it would turn out when i made the concept.

    screw my ideas of making it real, the cartoony look freaking rocks!!!!

    oh yea, <b>Illumina and who ever will animate this gun, PLEASE CONTACT ME BEFORE YOU MAKE THE ANIMATIONS. i have some sweet ideas for the animations thatll make it a solid package.</b>

    oh yea, last thing, I think maybe i will make the entire RTX pack into a cartoon pack.
