    Give more info:

    On what side (marine or alien) does this occur?
    What controls are you using?

    If you have any custom aliases or scripts, then make sure they don't rebind the slots. Otherwise, attach your config.cfg file. Unless someone else figures this out.

    I assume you're using the # buttons, 1-(4)? If you're trying to use a wheelmouse, I had a similar problem (never being able to stop on one weapon)and had to switch to the buttons. Just my .02, adjust for inflation... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ok, First up do what every one else has said (GIVE US INFO)

    now, download this file: <a href='http://www.sharemation.com/thansal/Thansal.cfg' target='_blank'>Thansal.cfg</a>

    put it into your NS dir

    join a game, and when everything is loaded pull down you console and type "exec Thansal.cfg" (no quotes)

    now try switching weapons (ussing the # keys and/or the mousewheel)
