Wait...5 different pistols...that means my sprite work just got ALOT harder since now I gotta include sepereate sprites for pistol...that means 5 640mw1-s.spr's and 5 640aw3-s.spr's...oh well...a little work is good for you...I think... X.x
they're all really cool concepts, but the Sopmod and Automag are supa sexai.
hey are you going to make it greenish like your most recent shotty and lmg? (they'd all look awesome regardless, but an ongoing trend might be interesting *shrug*)
Oh and if you need beta testers, I'm totally up for it (with any and all of your models). PM me or email me at ch1p60y@yahoo.com (or sean.buckley@mila.com) if you're in need of testers.
IMHO, the concept I personally like is the TSLP-9, because its slightly retro and looks different to the TSA standard.
Now, being that your releases so far have been more conventional, or more accurately functional, I'd say the one that would probably fit the best would be the P72 lantern. It looks very good alongside the shotty. From what I read you like it also.
The above is just IMHO, ta for giving us a glimpse into your concepts.
i know youve heard this over and over and over, but i am interested in betatesting.
you see, so far, i LOVE your models, use both your lmg and shottie, and never been happier heh, and i dont really do so much at my freetime, so i have a lot of time over for testing just PM me or sen an email [deskstar88@hotmail.com or twiggy@googish.com)
and ill PM you if i see that you are searching for beta-testers
i like the look of the p-74A probably because it has the lam on it, and lams are dead sexy the mr-12 is good too but imo any good pistol in ns HAS to have a lam.
i did send u a email through the forums about beta testing, but i dont know if it got through or not.
if u need a tester feel free to email me at morgoroth@optusnet.com.au
also.. <!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->And considering how the Pistol in NS does practically no damage<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
unupgraded the pistol does 20 damage per shot compared to the lmg's 10 dmg per shot, at lvl 3 i believe the pistol does 25 to the lmg's 13 dmg
also i think the hmg does 10 dmg unupgraded and 13 at lvl3
Anything I skin is for NS is going to have a Green and black TSA color scheme, so dont worry about that...
I picked these 5 pistols in the end because I felt they were representative of 5 general looks that Pistols often have.
The P-72 has an Older, probably somewhat "More military than the rest" look to it, because despite what current US military pistols look like (Italian Berettas and WWII .45's), The REST of the World, by and large, has used mostly German pistols as sidearms. Hence the P72 is Really the most military pistol there.
the P74a is my cross between a Colt 1911 and a SOCOM. I could have called it the P74A Socom, But SOPMOD Is basically a different acronym for the same thing (Special Operations Peculiar MODification). It was also the only pistol I chose that has a LAM, since everyone who draws a concept on these boards draws a LAM, and I didnt feel like being another one. It was really just designed to be a Generic .45
The P-97 was intended as a design for a High capacity, Fast Firing, Low powered pistol... really the opposite of the one in NS, but nonetheless a pretty cool design. I also imagined it would weigh next to nothing...
the MR-12 Automag was based on a Desert Eagle Frame with a Sig-P220 style fore slide, and a Beretta Styled Aft-Slide. And Would probably weigh 3 tons. It also would be the largest caliber, Probably a .45 Long Colt or .44 Magnum.
And the TSLP was Based on a in-between design... Kinda like a Submachinegun, Kinda like a Pistol. Basically the same Idea as the Micro-Uzi. Ive since also drawn out a Full fledges SMG version with a collapsable Stock and Flip out front grip.
"It was also the only pistol I chose that has a LAM, since everyone who draws a concept on these boards draws a LAM, and I didnt feel like being another one."
And this I very greatly appreciate. LAMs and gizmos are all very well but we've insane numbers of them <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Comments
BTW. The more I look at the TSLP-9 the more I like it but I dont know if it would look good in a first person view...
it have the look of a laser pistol <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

BTW Borchardt semi automatic pistol from 1893 - scary retro madness.
