Trim The Pinned Threads?

Is it just me or do the pinned threads fill the screen? I'm running on 1280*1024, and it's overkill IMHO <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Dude, I was thinking the exact same thing, the front page is like 1/2 size of normal cause of all the pinned topics.

    Pure overkill if you ask me, but people with a step smaller res will have to scroll a lot to get to the topics. Perhaps you can unpin the less important stuff hide it in a cat., and then have a link thread?

    yeah, there're too many stickied threads in every forum I think. I actually forget all about the stickied posts when they're been there for a little while, and would never think to check again. I mean, the ns combat thread was like 4 pages long yesterday.... I swear...... (well.... that's how long it's been since I looked)

    Stickies lose their impact if there's too many and they don't change... all seem to be sticky worthy but perhaps something else could be considered, maybe merging some?

    Personally I dont even look at a sticky thread if there's more than 3 up there. Its like spam.. you just subconciously skip over it.
