Python, File.py, How Do I Make It Pause?

<div class="IPBDescription">windows python a program, not shell</div> I'm not running it from the command line, and in my 'program' i cant figure out how to make it stay on the screen. i.e print 'hello' then it rapily executes it then quits. how do i make it pause until the user forces the program to close?
